Membership

  • 40 Youth Members
  • 19 Adult Members

 

Program

  • A Scout led Troop using the Patrol Method and the Patrol Leaders' Conference.
  • Implementation of National's Monthly Program Themes
  • The Troop typically has one guest speaker per month at a meeting.

Outings & Camping

  • Typically one outing or campout a month.
  • Yearly camp outs include a minimum of Polar Bear, Winter Cabin Camping, Spring Camporee, Summer Camp and Fall Camporee.
  • Summer Camp is a week long camping experience at Nationally accredited Boy Scout Camp. The Troop usually attends in mid-July.

Service Projects

  • The Troop participates in many service projects during a year for various community organizations.
  • Last year Troop 44 logged over 200 hours of service time.
